Chemical Peels and Pricing

Glycolic Acid Peels - $65 ($180 pkg. of 3)

Glycolic Acid's exceptional propensity for skin penetration counteracts a number of typical skin ailments such as fine lines and wrinkles, irregular skin pigmentation and clogged pores (which can lead to acne eruptions).
Glycolic Acid reverses the damage of photoaging by stimulating collagen and elastin production consequently increasing skin resilience and strength. The accelerated tissue proliferation restructures the dermis and improves overall skin health and agility.

First Timers - Glycolic 30%

Generally people begin to show signs of aging between 25-30 years old. Now is the perfect time to try Glycolic 30% which will rejuvenate and refresh your skin without showing visible signs of peeling. The 30% Glycolic Peel is one of the most popular strengths.
When using this peel you will find light-medium peeling & increased cell turnover, leaving you with smooth, radiant skin. Using a kit will help you heal faster and enhance the natural turnover process.

Most Popular - Glycolic 50%

Glycolic Acid 50% is a medium strength peel that's perfect for those whose skin can tolerate a stronger Glycolic acid peel. Glycolic 50% is best for sun damaged skin with an uneven skin tone. This medium strength concentration combats problematic skin conditions by removing pore-clogging debris evenly, and stimulating healthy, new elastin and collagen growth.

Salicylic Acid Peel - $65 ($180 pkg. of 3)

Particularly effective is the salicylic acid peel, as it is able to penetrate deeper into the skin - removing blackheads, whiteheads and diminishing fine lines. At a concentration of 10 to 30 %, salicylic acid peels have a much higher level of concentration than drugstore salicylic acne creams, which are typically at 1 to 5%. At this high concentration level, salicylic acid acts as a peeling agent dissolving the top layer of the epidermis. This peel aims to resurface the skin, resulting in a smoother complexion - treating current acne as well as preventing future breakouts.

Salicylic Acid, also known as Beta Hydroxy Acid (BHA), is derived from the bark of the willow tree. Salicylic Acid's unique ability to penetrate pores, due to its oil-soluble properties, makes it a particularly excellent treatment for acne vulgaris. In addition to exfoliating the epidermis, BHA removes comedone debris from deep within the pore lining thus improving its function, appearance and pore-formance. Salicylic Acid also acts as a mild anti-inflammatory and skin conditioning agent therefore improving its texture and clarity.

Alpha Beta Peel - $70

With its powerful combination of AHAs and BHAs, the Alpha-Beta Peel is right for anyone with multiple skin issues. This comprehensive dual peel contains salicylic acid, to halt sebum production, clear pores and stop acne breakouts. Glycolic acid joins in to speed cell turnover for firmer, brighter, healthier skin. Together, these two chemical peeling agents lift away sun-damaged cells to even skin tone and dissipate fine lines and wrinkles. For those with hyperpigmentation issues, the Alpha-Beta Peel is a skin lightening alternative to skin lightening creams that contain harsh, caustic bleaching agents like hydroquinone.

The Alpha-Beta Peel combines the rejuvenating properties of glycolic acid with the acne-fighting strength of salicylic acid. The Alpha-Beta Peel boosts collagen and elastin production to preserve skin's youthful elasticity, and accelerates cell turnover for luxuriously satiny skin. It fights acne and soothes inflammation. The Alpha-Beta Peel also:

  • Diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Shrinks pores
  • Fades sun spots and hyperpigmentation
  • Evens skin tone
  • Lowers sebum production
  • Penetrates and deep-cleans pores
  • Fade fine lines and wrinkles
  • Kills the bacteria that cause acne

Jessner's Peel - $150

Are you looking to improve the appearance of your skin? If so, then you may want to consider the Jessner's Peel. It is a skin peeling solution or treatment that has gained a lot of popularity, which is due primarily to its success rate with a variety of skin textures and types, and its ability to treat numerous skin problems. This includes anything from mild to severe cases of acne, wrinkles and even skin damage due to excessive sun exposure. Jessner's Peel is fully capable of enhancing and improving the overall appearance of many skin conditions.

Jessner's can be used to lighten areas of hyperpigmentation, treat acne and acne scars and to treat photo damaged and aged sun damaged skin. Jessner's peel achieves a more thorough peel than AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) peels and is appropriate for patients requiring a deeper peel.

Darker skin types (particularly African American) should proceed with caution due to an increased risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation from Resorcinol exposure.
